An ethical appeal is a procedure implemented to persuade the audience, and it is supported by the reliability of the author. According to Aristotle, it is one of the three most efficient appeals used to convince the audience via writing or speaking. The other two are known as emotional and logical appeals, respectively. In this example, the imperative statement "Be a hero!" is the clearest example of persuasive method to approach the audience.
