Answer:
A. I hope to quickly finish the worksheets so that I can study for the quiz.
E. The dancers must take time to completely warm up before the performance.
Explanation:
Sentences A and E contain split infinitives. In the case of sentence "A" the adverb "quickly" is between the particle "to" and the verb finish. Then, we can see that the same happens with sentence "E" in which there is an adverb (completely) between the particle "to" and the verb "warm up".
To have an splt infinitive is necessary to place something (usually an adverb) between the particle "to" and the verb. So sentences B, C, D are not examples of split infinitives.
The answer is: [D]: The doctor will arrive soon.

Answer:
Some people misunderstand me when I talk about the president. I am a hard-core republican and all of these Democrats will ask me, "Why do you like Trump?" Then, when I explain, they don't get it. They are fixed on their main goal of exposing and hating any Trump lover. They don't care if they lie or cheat their way through. When I talk to them, it's like talking to a brick wall. They just deflect any proof I have about why Trump is greater than Joe Biden. When they explain why Biden is great to try to prove my point wrong, it goes south because I have proof stating why they are incorrect.
Hopefully, this helps!
I think it's because in songs or a poem you could use informal language and can consists of figurative language. Whereas, academic or business writing has to be formal and most of the time sophisticated.
