So a "thesis statement" means you want to get the main idea in one sentence. Just a simple, quick, and small summary. The thesis statement is at the beginning of a summary or essay.

You also want to engage the reader, so they don't think "this is boring," or "I think this is out of my style". It may also be called a hook, snagging the readers attention.

Long story short, it is the first two.

Bezzdna [24]

Foil means a character who has the same motif.

Both Fortinbras and Laertes had the same motif as Hamlet. E well know that every one of them has lost his father but they differ in reactions. Laertes and Fortinbras they immediately acted after they heard about the death of their fathers but Hamlet delayed this is because of his flow.

Fortinbras acted quickly to avenge his father’s death by launching a huge military conquest which was against Denmark. Fortinbras engaged in the real leadership of Norwegian armies and expanded territory in his country.

Hamlet differs from Laertes in that Hamlet is introspective and indecisive while Laertes is impulsive and rash.

bonufazy [111]

Explanation:

If you say the theme of the story article or whatever you're reading is "love" for say, you won't be able to say anything substantial about it. You need to be specific, and this is best done in a sentence Example: "Forbidden love can have terrible consequences"

Hope this helped you :)
