Upton Sinclair wrote The Jungle in order to expose A. scandals in Washington politics. B. the gruesome conditions in prisons. C.
alexandr402 [8]
The Jungle is a book about the work conditions and the conditions of meat in their stores, so I would say that the answer is c. fraud in LOCAL (being the keyword here) and federal governments. I may be wrong because this is a somewhat confusing question as it's not staying the actual purpose for the book being written.
