An introductory paragraph is suppose to get the readers attention and tell the reader what they will learn when reading. This paragraph does not tell me what I would learn from reading this article.
The figure of speech used is personification because bells are just a thing and by reading the poem the author gives life to it. Its like the bells have the capability to speak to the readers.
