What makes Heck Tate uneasy in To kill a mockingbird?
Elodia [21]
The men are apparently talking about Tom Robinson. The reader can infer that Heck Tate is nervous that something might happen to Tom. He talks about moving Tom to the county jail the next day and says, "I don't look for any trouble, but I can't guarantee there won't be any..." Another man, Mr. Link Deas, says that he is worried about "that Old Sarum bunch," referring to the people who live in the northern part of the county. Deas asks if Heck might be able to get a change of venue for the trial, but the sheriff replies that there is not much point in doing that now............ dont know if this helps

Sliva [168]

Answer: Brandon’s parents sent him to the public school.

In this excerpt, we are presented with a problem. The problem is that Brandon's parents do not know which school to send him to. On the one hand, the public school is near their house. However, on the other hand, the private school offered him a scholarship. The solution, however, was that Brandon's parents decided to send him to the public school. This was because they noticed that Brandon had already made some friends in the neighbourhood.
