  • So if Ethan is running on a track that is \frac{3}{8} miles long, and he ran across the track twice, then you need to add \frac{3}{8}+\frac{3}{8} to see what fraction is equivalent to the distance Ethan ran. So the answer will be  \frac{3}{4}.
