Count the points in the figure to the line of reflection then mark on the other side with the same distance.
Ex (-4,2) is (0, 2) and (-7,4) is (3,4)

so basically the y stays the same and the x changes based on how far is is from the line of reflection. there is also probably a better way to do this but it’s 2 am so yea

What are the coordinates of the midpoint of the line segment with endpoints 2,5 and 4,-7
Phoenix [80]
<h3>Answer:   (3, -1)</h3>

===============================================

Explanation:

The midpoint formula is (x_m, y_m) = \left(\frac{x_1+x_2}{2},\frac{y_1+y_2}{2}\right)

This basically says to add the corresponding coordinates and divide by 2.

The given points (2,5) and (4,-7) have x coordinates of 2 and 4. They add to 2+4 = 6, and then that result cuts in half to 6/2 = 3. The x coordinate of the midpoint is 3.

The y coordinate of the midpoint is y = -1 since adding the y coordinates of the given points leads to 5+(-7) = -2 which cuts in half to -1.

So overall the midpoint is located at (3, -1)

Answer:

The answer is A. Positive Weak Non-Linear

Step-by-step explanation:

The dotted points are graphed in an upward form which indicates that it's graphed positively but since the dotted points are scattered that indicates it has a weak "power".

The value of the expression would be 16.25 or 16 and 1/4, because when you multiply something by 1/2, you’re basically dividing it by 2, and when you put parentheses next to a number (for example 2(4) ), it means that you’re multiplying it, and when more than one values are in the parentheses, they all get multiplied, basically distributive property.

13. If 6 times the 6th term of an A.P. is equal to
romanna [79]

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

The n th term of an AP is

a_{n} = a₁ + (n - 1)d

where a₁ is the first term and d the common difference

Given

6(a₁ + 5d) = 13(a₁ + 12d) ← distribute parenthesis on both sides

6a₁ + 30d = 13a₁ + 156d ( subtract 13a₁ from both sides )

- 7a₁ + 30d = 156d ( subtract 30d from both sides )

- 7a₁ = 126d ( divide both sides by - 7 )

a₁ = - 18d

Now

a₁₉ = a₁ + 18d = - 18d + 18d = 0 ← as required
