Answer:

B: Uncle Max agreed to show me the magic trick. I tried to learn how to hold the coin the way he showed me. I fumbled it around in my fingers, trying repeatedly to flip the coin just right. After some odd attempts, I dropped the coin. Then I picked the shiny metal coin off the hard floor and began to try again. I got it, and I pulled the coin out of Uncle Max's ear. Uncle Max told me that the art of coin magic has been in our family for some while now. He explained that his father once taught him magic and he wants to pass it on to keep his father's memory. As well as Uncle Max's memory one day.

Explanation:

1. Uncle Max agreed to teach the narrator the trick so Uncle Max's father's memory could remain alive.

2. After Uncle Max agreed the narrator was able to do the trick after many unsuccsessful tries by using his determination.
