Infamy means a something famous for being terrible, or something widely disliked, so, a date which will live in infamy, would probably mean a day that something terrible occurred. For example the day Marting Luther king jr. was murdered would be a day that will live in infamy. It’s a day that is widely know for something terrible that happened.
Hope this helps!

Match each line of dialogue to what it reveals about a character.
frez [133]

Answer:

Rainsford is an excellent hunter.

"I've seen you pick off a moose moving ... at four hundred yards."

Whitney has been to Rio before.

"It will be light in Rio," promised Whitney

This is the first time Rainsford has made this journey.

"What island is it?" Rainsford asked.

Rainsford does not sympathize with the animals he kills.

"Who cares how a jaguar feels?"

Explanation:

The dialogues are from an adventure novel named "The Most Dangerous Game" (1924) written by Richard Connell.

Rainsford is novel's protagonist and Whitney is his friend. They go to Ship-Trap Island which most hunters and sailors dread and avoid because of it being very dangerous.
