I would fall under optimistic probably because I always like to look at the bright side of something. Optimism is when you look at the bright side first, while pessimism is when you look at the darker side first. For example, being optimistic is like almost tripping and saying, " At least I didn't trip." Being pessimistic would be like, " I almost tripped and I could have broke something.
