First of all, heading was the first part of the friendly letter.
Heading:
Tell where you are when you are writing
Written in the upper right hand corner
-included house address, name of street
-city, state, zip code
-month, day,year
Capitalized proper noun
Place a comma between the name of the city and state. For example,
950 Broad Avenue
Wilmington, California 90744
