I have been interested in voice acting, narration, voiceover, and the like since I was a little girl. I was exposed to wonderful recordings as a child, maybe even as a baby, and I learned early on how expressive and delightful the voice can be, in storytelling, poetry recitation, and comedy.

Why does Jim Murphy begin The Great Fire by describing the interaction between William Lee and Bruno Goll? to illustrate the fac
aivan3 [116]

Answer:

To show the first human failure that contributed to the spread of the fire.

Explanation:

"The Great Fire" by Jim Murphy is children's story about the 'Great Fires of Chicago' that burned down almost half of Chicago.

Jim Murphy started the story with the fire and then proceeded to tell of how the families were. By starting the story in medias res, he brings to the point the failures of humans that eventually led to the fire. Though the fire brought out the real issues of the families against each other, Jim didn't mention them before the fire. Instead, he focused on the fire first and then begins the background of the story.

Why is the air temperature in Peru's coastal desert cooler than in its rain forest?
a_sh-v [17]

Answer:

The cold temperatures also come from the cold water on the coast. You would only see warm temperatures if there would be a wind coming down from the nearby Andes mountain range. The situation of Lima in Peru is basically similar to what affects cities such as San Diego, USA and Tijuana, Mexico.
