Answer: C

Step-by-step explanation:

The height of the parallelogram for A is 3 units while the length the base is 6 units.

For D it follows this same pattern, the height is 1 which is half of the length of the base, 2.

B also follows this pattern, the height is 2 which is half of the length of the base, 4

C does not follow this pattern and is the odd one out.

Are the areas squared? So then are the answers in the thousands??
vfiekz [6]

Answer:

Yes, area units are squared (and volume units are cubed). The answers are:

 • a. 7.5 in
 • b. 12 in
 • c. 16.5 in

Step-by-step explanation:

Finding the area of a square or rectangle just involves multiplying the measures of both sides. So to find the measures of the missing sides, you need to divide the given area by the given side.

(Area)/(Known side)=(Unknown Side)

The units get squared because they're being multiplied... I'm not really sure how else to put it so sorry if it's still weird. It's like (x)(x)=x² but with the units; which are inches in this case.

The units pretty much always follow mathematical rules if your keeping track of them. Multiplying like units results in squared (for areas) or cubed (for volumes) units and dividing units gives you a ratio (like miles/hour). Adding and subtracting them won't change their degrees, but you also can't mix unlike unit degrees (in+in² can't be performed). Units will reduce if you divide or multiply them in certain ways too(miles/hour multiplied by hours will give you just the miles); but I digress.

O you know that N/N0 = .48 and k=.00001 (and e=2.718) Your equation becomes: .48 = 2.718*(.00001*t) NOTE: you probably mean.48=(2.718).00001t

Find the probability that his/her household has four or more cell phones in use. Is it unlikely for a household to have four or
sineoko [7]

Answer:

Event not unlikely

Step-by-step explanation:

Probability is defined as the likelihood of an event occurring.

P(E)=Event/Total \ outcomes

Total outcome,T_o=Total responses record which is:

T_o=218+296+362+148+142=1166

P_e=142

Therefore the probability of 4+ phones is

P(x\geq 4)=142/1166=0.1218

Since 0.1218>0.05, the event is not unlikely
