We come across both living and non-living things in our daily lives . Sometimes it is very easy to differentiate between the two, but at times it is difficult. There are many features and factors which make living things different from non-living things.

Living things, as the name suggests, are lively and active. They are made up of cells; exhibit characteristics of life, like growth, movement, reproduction, response to stimuli; they evolve, and require energy for daily activities. Some of the daily life examples of living things around us are human beings, animals, plants and micro organisms.

Non-livings things do not exhibit any characteristics of life. They do not grow, respire, need energy, move, reproduce, evolve, or maintain homeostasis. These things are made up of non-living materials

Which type of tree with poisonous berries is often found in uk churchyards and has a starring role in the film "a monster calls"
Sliva [168]
It would be the yew tree.

Yew (Taxus baccata) is a typical tree of churchyards, where some are thought to be well beyond 1,000 years old. Poisonous yew trees were planted in churchyards by the farmers to make sure that their animals didn’t stray into them. The cells in this part of a plant form long, vertical tubes. What is the most
3241004551 [841]

Answer:

D. The tubes allow water and nutrients to be transported throughout

the plant.

Explanation:

option D supports the description of the cells. The long , vertical tubes transport water and nutrients and are most likely xylem and phloem vessels.

option A is wrong since, chloroplasts inside the cell helps in absorbing sunlight.

option C is also wrong, because water loss is controlled by the stomata in the leaves and they are not long tubes.

option B could possibly be right but option D is better suited.
