Freddie and Christopher were walking down the street. They were on their way to school. They came to an intersection and stopped

. A blue truck came speeding past them! There was a police car chasing after the truck. Its lights and sirens were on. Freddie and Christopher were amazed. They ran after the cars for a while. They stopped soon. They had to go to school. That night, the news said that there had been a high speed-chase. Somebody robbed a bank and tried to flee the police. They were caught.
Rewrite the above paragraph by varying sentence structure to add interest and meaning.

Answer:Freddie and Christopher were walking down the street on their way to school. Just before they stopped at an intersection, a blue truck came speeding past them, followed a police car with its lights and sirens. Amazed, Freddie and Christopher chased after the cars until they had to stop and go to school. That night, the news said that someone had robbed the bank and tried to flee the police, causing a high speed chase. The robber failed to get away from the police, and they were shortly caught.
