Libraries are essential in communities for lower-income families who can't afford technology as well as to keep physical books on hand in case technology goes out or some people learn better through physical books rather than a computer screen. There is so much a library can offer that many people in my community use it for. Like printing school work, having a quiet place to read, finding interesting books, searching for something on the web, and so much more! I believe students will have a harder time without libraries in my community.
