30 POINTS PLZ HELP_What were the defining characteristics of Greek architecture?
Dennis_Churaev [7]
Greek architecture is best known from its temples, many of which are found throughout the region, mostly as ruins but many substantially intact.
Greek architecture of the most formal type, for temples and other public buildings, is divided stylistically into three "orders", first described by the Roman architectural writer Vitruvius. These are: the Doric Order, the Ionic Order and the Corinthian Order.
While the three orders are most easily recognizable by their capitals, the orders also governed the form, proportions, details and relationships of the columns, entablature, pediment and the stylobate. The different orders were applied to the whole range of buildings and monuments.

If you need more on the orders just message me or you can look it up.

weqwewe [10]

Hello. Although you have submitted a text, you have not submitted any questions related to it, which makes it impossible for me to give you an answer. However, I will try to help you as best I can, explaining what this text is about.

In a nutshell, we can consider that this text refers to the reason that made humans start making pottery. The text shows that pottery was necessary in the first human societies. This need arose because humans needed containers to store food, or anything else. Over time, the practice of making pottery was improving and modernizing, reaching the present day, where this practice can even be considered as artistic works.
