In retail sales, women earn 70 cents to the dollar while a man with the same title will earn nearly $40,000 more a year african-american women make 64 cents and Latina-americans make 56 cents for every dollar earned by a caucasian-american man. The only explanation i can give is that even though we are all born and created equally we are not treated equally, and there is extremes on every side and we should all just try to live life and let others believe what they wanna believe and try to live peacefully regardless of race religion color creed or sexual orientation. Just be the best you believe you can be and prove them wrong so they see that there can be peace.

To what extent did the Dred Scott Case lead to the further fracture between the Northern and Southern states between the 1840s a
a_sh-v [17]
The Dred Scott Case furthered the gap between abolitionists and slaveholders. By asserting that a slave was property and had no free will or agency, the northern states dug deeper into the abolitionist movement. This also spurned many to stop further acquisition of slaveholding lands in order to maintain free states and places where slaves couldn't be found. By having a mission to stop the spread of slavery, this put a strangehold on land starved plantation holders who saw the western acquisitions of the Mexican Cessation as potential cotton or tobacco lands. Stopping their spread made the southern states feel oppressed and furthered their own wishes to keep their own standard of living.
