Fauvism is an art style which started in France in the 20th century.

It uses brilliant colors to depict emotions and things.

In these paintings, they apply color directly from the tubes.

Main artist of fauvism are Henri Matisse, George Braque and André Derain.

George Braque was a cubism painter before but after influencing from fauvism, he adopted fauvism.

Thus, George Braque was a French painter, his paintings were impressionistic, but after seeing a group of artist called fauves, he influenced by fauvism in 1905.
