<h2>Step-by-step explanation:</h2>

<h3>Width of rectangle = 7 cm</h3>

<h3>because ∵ width of rectangle is equal to the radius of each semicircle.</h3>

<h3>therefore ∴ radius of each semicircle (r) = 7 cm.</h3>

<h3>therefore ∴ Diameter of each semicircle = 14 cm</h3>

<h3>therefore ∴ Length of rectangle = 3 x 14 = 42 cm.</h3>

Your answer is 1049.76

72 divided by 3= 24, 24 is your diameter of each semi circle

To find the area of your semi circles you’ll use pi times radius squared.

Aka 3.14 times 12^2 divided by 2 = 226.08

Times 3 for 3 semi circles

226.08 times 3= 678.24

Now find the area of the rectangle and you get the height from the semi circles which is 24m

72 times 24= 1,728m^2

Now you take the area of the rectangle and subtract the area of the circles

1,728 - 678.24 = 1,049.76m

Circle O has a circumference of 36tt cm. what is length of the radius r
allochka39001 [22]

Answer:

5.73cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given parameters:

Circumference of the circle = 36cm

Unknown

Length of the radius = ?

Lets represent the radius by r

Solution

The circumference of a circle is the defined as the perimeter of a circle. The formula is given as:

            Circumference of a circle = 2πr

Since the unknown is r, we make it the subject of the formula:

           r = \frac{circumference of the circle}{2π}

          r = \frac{36}{2 x 3.142} = \frac{36}{6.284} = 5.73cm

A recursive rule for a geometric sequence is
LuckyWell [14K]

Answer:

C. a_n=(9)(\frac{2}{3})^{n-1}

Step-by-step explanation:

Iterative geometric sequence:

a_n=a_1x^{n-1}

Recursive geometric sequence:

a_n=xa_{n-1}

The equations are very similar and you only really need to rearrange it. The factor (2/3) and the first term (9) are given, so you can write the iterative equation:

a_n=(9)(\frac{2}{3})^{n-1}

And so the answer is C.
