I would also agree that the answer is insulin

insulin is known as an endocrine hormone. The endocrine glands are what produce hormones. Insulin is a protein that is made by the beta cells , which are found in the pancreas. Beta cells major function is to store and then release insulin.

The graphic shows the citric acid cycle. A diagram of the citric acid cycle is shown. Acetyl C o A enters the citric acid cycle
vagabundo [1.1K]

Answer:

It enters the citric acid cycle and associates with a 4-carbon molecule, forming citric acid, and then through redox reactions regenerates the 4-carbon molecule.

Explanation:

Acetyl-CoA(2C) associates with oxalacetate(4C) to form citric acid(6C). Then through redox reactions, CO2 molecules result from decarboxylation (COOH becomes R-(R1)CH-R2). And through dehydrogenation H2 molecules are incorporated in NADH+ in FADH2, resulting in the 4-carbon molecule at the beginning (oxalacetate). That's why it's called a cycle(Kreb's cycle or citric acid cycle)

The environmental cue that determines the night of gamete release during a particular month is:
sasho [114]

Answer:

The stages of the moon

Explanation:

The term menstruation is related to the moon stages. Because of their coincidence in occurrence and in their duration time, people used to associate the feminine cycle to the moon cycle.

It is commonly said that the ovulation stage coincides with the full moon stage. In the same way, menstruation occurs when there is a new moon.

What really occurs is that the feminine period might or might not coincides with the moon cycle, and depends on each woman. But this is not a strict rule.

The duration of a woman´s cycle depends on every woman, on the raze, on the age, among many other factors. The fact that sometimes the feminine cycle coincides with the moon cycle, does not mean that the moon determines the cycle stages in a woman.
