Some foods, like potato chips and pretzels, are obviously salty. But many packaged foods may also contain hidden salt. Food comp

anies often add sodium to help improve taste. Things such as canned tuna, hot dogs, cheese, and even some breads and pasta have a considerable amount of salt in them. In fact, most of the salt we eat does not come from a salt shaker; it comes from our food. Too much salt, like too much of anything, can result in substantial health risks. To improve Americans' health, the U.S. government wants its citizens to reduce the amount of salt they eat by more than half.

Answer:

B: Unaware

Explanation:

Most Americans are unaware in the amount of salt things have, even if they try to track it, many of the very ingredients other then salt could have added salt. Most of the sodium on the label is added salt, but in the manufacturing process, perishable foods usually have salt as salt can maintain the food from decomposition.

I think that if the sentence was they get paid ( as a verb) every alternate week it would be definitely a passive voice. Do not forget that the passive forms are made up of the verb be with a past participle.<span>
