Answer:

Hanna

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find out how fast Thomas has drove as compared to Hanma we have to compare the speed of each other,

Speed of Hanna = 50mph (as given in ur question)

Speed of Thomas

Since the unit of time of the distance traveled by Thomas is not same as that of Hanna we have to convert the minutes into hour,

Distance traveled = 12miles

Time taken = 15minutes

Speed = 12miles/15mim

Converting minutes into hours we have to multiply by a number whose product will be 60 and that will 4

that is 15 times 4 is 60. But to make the ratio equal

we have to multiply the distance too by 4.

= 12*4/15*4

=48 miles/60minutes

=48miles/1hour

=48mph

Comparing both speeds

Speed of Hanna compared to Speed of Thomas,

50mph > 48mph

Hence, Hanna has the faster speed.

h(t)=-5t^2+10t+3 is the height of a diver above the water, t seconds after the diver leaves the springboard. How high above the
Kobotan [32]

Answer:

3 units

Step-by-step explanation:

So if we want to know how high the spring board is, this will need to be the time at which the diver is still at the top of the board, in this case t = 0 seconds.

So we will need to find h(0)

 • h(0) = 5(0)² + 10(0) + 3 = 0 + 0 + 3 = 3

Expand and simplyfy 4(2x+3) +4(3x+2)
Aleonysh [2.5K]

Answer:

x=1 I'm not sure if I'm correct

Step-by-step explanation:

4x2x=8x

4x3=12

4x3x=12x

4x2=8

8x+12=12x+8

8x-12x= 8-12

-4x=-4 divide -4x in both side so the answer should be x=1

Significa lo mismo el .1 en 20.1 km que en 5.1
por que?
REY [17]
