Why did groups of people like sons and daughters of liberty and the British Parliament had more of a start in starting the Ameri
klemol [59]
The sons and daughters of liberty were opposing the rules of the British parliament. They placed taxes on everything! This angered our Founding Fathers so they boycotted ALL British goods. This led to the Boston Tea Party.  Later came the Midnight Ride of Paul Revere. He knew the British soldiers were here because there would be 2 lamps on the church f they came by sea and 1 if they came by land. The minute men met the soldiers at Concord and that's when the Revolutionary war began. Exciting right?
