After the II war, the African Nationalism emerged late 1940s and early 1950s  because three main reasons: The first one was that nearly two million African soldiers who were part of the II war (1939-1945) were discontent after coming back to the colonial states to be treated as slaves. The second reason was that Kwame Nkrumah father of the Pan Africanism, influenced the African Nationalist leaders  against the colonial rules to reach freedom and finally the third reason was to maintain the unity among them after the rejection of colonies which oppressed African Nationalist.

Answer:

There are several reasons that African nationalism grew into a powerful force in the late 1940s and early 1950s. First, the Pan-African movement influenced people's thinking about the importance of self-rule. There were several influential leaders of this movement who urged the people in their countries to seek independence. Second, the return of African soldiers at the end of World War II caused many in Africa to question why their soldiers should fight for the freedom of others only to return to nations ruled by foreign powers. Finally, when the British granted India independence in 1948, Africans were greatly encouraged to push for their own independent countries.

How did kristallnacht demonstrate persecution of the jews
sp2606 [1]

Answer:

It took place in November 1938. Kristallnacht means Night of Broken Glass. The Nazis used the shooting of a German diplomat in Paris by a Jew as an excuse to unleash an organised and violent pogrom against Jews in Germany.

The name comes from the breaking of glass as Jewish buildings, particularly synagogues, and Jews themselves were targeted, Hundreds of synagogues were burned to the ground.

It marked a significant escalation of harassment of Jews by the Nazis which had begun as they came to power. Thousands were arrested and sent to concentration camps. Many were also killed.
