The Counterculture of the 1960s developed to help stabilize U.S. civil rights. This movement went from 1960- 1970's. Many social aftereffects were the reason behind the uprising of the larger counterculture movement. It conceded with America being involved in Vietnam. Counter Culture's three main goals were: free speech, equality and world peace.
It made it so that woman took over the roles of men in factories, this pushed feminism and showed that women where just as capable as me in the factory.
