The groundwater replenished by the precipitation, streams, and rivers. Option D is correct.

What is groundwater replenished?

The technique by which surface water travels from the covering land surface into the groundwater basement is known as groundwater recharge (or replenishment).

Surface water can be replenished by flowing through the dirt and groundwater, or by injecting water rapidly into the groundwater through wellheads.

This process of recharge is getting done by precipitation, streams, and rivers

Therefore, option D is correct.

What type of angle is it?
What is the measurement?
romanna [79]
Below I have included an image that has the measure of all of the angles on it.

We can find the measures of the angles here due to the laws about complimentary angles. A pair of complimentary angles can be formed when 2 lines are perpendicular, and when added together, will always equal 90. The pair are the angles that are not directly adjacent from each other. In this figure, "x" and "(4x-10)" are a pair. According to another law, opposite angles, or adjacent angles, will always be equal to each other. Using the logic above is how we can find the measure of all angles.

Since one angle has a box, we know the lines are perpendicular, and that the laws of complimentary angles apply. We can also use that to see that the angle diagonal from it is equal to 90.

To solve for the other measures, we need to add the 2 equations together and set them equal to 90 (because of that law we talked about before).

x+(4x-10)=90
5x-10=90
   +10+10
5x=100
/5     /5
x=20

Now that we know x equals 20, we can substitute that value in and solve.

x=20

=(4x-10)
=(4*20-10)
=(80-10)
=70

We also know this is correct because 20 and 70 equal 90.

Name the four sphere of the earth.
Anni [7]

1) Everything in Earth's system can be placed into one of four major subsystems: land, water, living things, or air. These four subsystems are called “spheres.” Specifically, they are the lithosphere (land), hydrosphere (water), biosphere (living things), and atmosphere (air).

2) Importance of land stems from the fact that: Land holds the treasure of other important resources like oil, minerals, drinking water, trees giving oxygen & wood, eatables, and is the final recycling factory to produce reusable resources from the environment.

3) Soil is one of the three major natural resources, alongside air and water. Soil is made up of three main components – minerals that come from rocks below or nearby, organic matter which is the remains of plants and animals that use the soil, and the living organisms that reside in the soil.

4) the organic component of soil, formed by the decomposition of leaves and other plant material by soil microorganisms.

5) Soil is the thin layer of material covering the earth's surface and is formed from the weathering of rocks. It is made up mainly of mineral particles, organic materials, air, water and living organisms—all of which interact slowly yet constantly.

6) Humans only occupy five percent of the Earth's surface because oceans, deserts, rainforests, and glaciers cover much of the planet. The term for areas where humans permanently settle is called ecumene. Population growth and technology dramatically increase the ecumene of humans, which affects the world's ecosystems.
