Assuming there is no right or wrong answer for this as long as you provide support, within the bible God says to the Israelites, "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you," in this regard the foreign policy between US and Israel would tie into God's relation to the US. Hope this was helpful.

Scilla [17]

Answer:

Hundreds of thousands of Americans traveled westward during the migration of the 1840s and 1850s. Pioneers had a choice of trails, but none was easy. The Oregon Trail alone claimed some 34,000 lives—most from accidents or cholera. About one grave was dug for every hundred yards. The biggest fear was not finishing the journey before winter with its deadly storms. Those who were successful could claim inexpensive, fertile land and had an excellent chance of carving out a good life for themselves

Why was the tea-opium connection important?
Talja [164]

Answer:

The tea-opium connection led to the Opium War.

Explanation:

The tea-opium connection refers to the commercial relationship between the Europeans and the Chinese during the 18th century. China used to be self-sufficient, meaning that, since they had more exports than imports, they had no need to establish new trade relationships with Europe. However, Britain was interested in importing Chinese tea. By smuggling opium into China, Britain managed to get the Chinese people addicted to it and therefore created a demand for a British good in that country.

The tea-opium connection was clearly beneficial for the Europeans and not to the Chinese, and the British refusal to smuggle opium into China led to the Opium War.
