Natasha2012 [34]

Answer:

A major weakness of the Articles of Confederation was that Congress could not tax. Congress could only request that taxes be submitted. This is a big weakness because tax money IS needed to do things like fund a military and provide much-needed services for the country.

Consider your webtext reading about Québécois immigration. If you were researching this topic, what else would you like to know
notka56 [123]

This text (<em>Mobility Potential and the Quality of Life in Working-Class Lowell, Massachusetts: The French Canadians ca. 1870</em>) focuses on Québécois immigration to Massachusetts. It tells us that many Québécois people decided to move to this region because it provided better opportunities than Québec, as well as the possibility of a slightly easier life.

I would personally like to know more about the culture of the Québécois people, such as how they related to each other, to their partners and children, and whether this was any different from the people of Massachussets. I would also like to know whether most Québécois people succeeded and stayed in Massachussets or whether they went back to Québec.
