It is difficult to suggest a course of action as no one knows what the perfect answer to this is. Most of the time, discrimination comes from a fear of the unknown. People have prejudices and biases towards people who are different from them and this affects how they think about them. However, when people spend time in diverse communities, they tend to become more tolerant and accepting of those who are different to them.
