Irony occurs when the speaker means the opposite of what is said.
The poem “Ozymandias,” by Percy Bysshe Shelley, makes reference to pharaoh Ramses II and paraphrases the words of a large statue of him displayed at the British Museum:
"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
According to these words , Ramses II challenges everybody to surpass his magnificent statues and grandeur. However, as stated in the poem, the words on the pedestal of Ozymandias’s statue are ironic because all that can be seen today from Ramses II's greatness nowadays is decaying ruins. As a result, the author means to highlight the most powerful empires always come to an end.

Answer:
A risk I have taken is becoming emotional numb. Which didn't seem smart at first, which is why it was a risk. The reason I took this risk is for the gain, if I did detach from emotions pain wouldn't hurt as much. But, at the same time I wouldn't feel things when something good would happen. How I did this was telling my self the truth, people are going to die, leave, and betray someday. To think about situations that can make me emotionally hurt and accept them. Remind myself that emotions are hormones and chemically reactions. They are only made for reproduction, to avoid people, think before I speak. Keep a reminder of how people, and in the past they destroyed eachother for the most funniest reasons. All at the same time keeping myself busy. What I've learned from this is that this is the body natural response to much feelings. We as humans aren't meant for this so it was bound to happen sooner or later. If I ever do feel anything it's mostly anger, anger overpowers all. Now that this happened I don't have remorse for it, it's great.
