Question:

Step 3: Finally, you will need to explain your choices by writing a one-paragraph summary explaining your ranking and providing an overall picture of the demise of communism in the Soviet Union.

Pt. 3 Answer:

In my opinion, the demise of the communist party within the Soviet Union was a result of Gorbachev and a certain European coup.  The most important factor because Gorbachev was a reasonable man willing to comply with the United Nations and America. Then there's the coup and this is very important because this failed coup de ta resulted in the immediate collapse of the communist party within the Soviet Union. After the movement known as detente, the berlin wall came down after a presidential speech given by Ronald Reagan. As a result of all of these factors, the USSR dissolved its communist beliefs and withdrew from conflict with the united states.

dlinn [17]

Two of the goals were:

- Students were to be tested annually in math and reading.

No Child Left Behind Act requires that school demonstrate that each student is on grade level, in key areas such as math and reading. States must set goals which will demonstrate schools are making "adequate yearly progress" in math and reading.

- Facilities were to be upgraded to meet Federal standards.

School that can not demonstrate this proficiency stand to lose Federal funding.

I hope this helped you. :)
