Heeeeeelp me find part b with working out thanks
Oduvanchick [21]
A)
i) C(n)=42n
ii)C(n,x)=15n+0.25x

b)She plans to drive a total of 600 Km, therefore: x=600
Budget:  C(n)=42n
Deluxe:   C(n,x)=15n +0.25(600)=15n+150

Cost of Budget< Cost of Deluxe
42n<15n+150
42n-15n<150
27n<150
n<150/27
n<5.5      ⇒n<5

Two companies offer jane sales position. Company a pays $3,000 per month plus $250 per car sold.. Company B pays 2,500 per month
Montano1993 [528]

Given :

Two companies offer jane sales position. Company a pays $3,000 per month plus $250 per car sold.. Company B pays 2,500 per month plus $350 per car sold.

To Find :

Which equation could be used to determine the number of cars sold in a month, x, that would result in the same total income from each company.

Solution :

Let, x car are sold for same income.

Mathematical equation of company one :

T_1 =3000+250x

Mathematical equation of company two :

T_2 =2500+350x

For same income :

T_1=T_2\\\\3000 + 250x = 2500 + 350x\\\\100x = 500\\\\x=5

So, for same total income from each company the number of cars sold in a month should be 5.

Hence, this is the required solution.
