Do-Now: After two months has passed since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war, can we see it ending any time soon? Explain.

History

Answer:

It depends.

Explanation:

It depends; Ukraine is our (The United State's) ally, but the Government has done close to nothing to help them through this war. However, we as citizens can do our best to donate food, weapons, clothing, baby supplies and more to help the small country of Ukraine fight against Russia.

Another thing to think about is the Russian soldiers themselves. Putin (President of Russia) has tricked the soldiers into thinking that Ukraine wanted them to take over because their leaders were treating them terribly. Of course this is untrue, but the Soldiers believed it, and have actually come up to Ukraine citizens asking for food and other supplies, because they think that they are both on the same side.

So at the end of the day, there are a lot of factors to analyze (some of which I didn't mention, because I wanted to keep this a reasonably sized answer rather than basically an essay, but also because I think you should do some reseaarch of your own.), and your answer really just depends on a lot of people, and what they will do next to help or to hurt Ukraine/Russia. I would say to do what you can to help Ukraine for two main reasons:

 1. People of all ages are dying, suffering, being seperated from their familes, and those people are of all ages; ranging form infants to the elderly.
 2. Ukraine is the Breadbasket of Europe, and makes 11.5% of the worlds wheat. If Russia takes Ukraine over and does not immediatley start reviving Ukraine's percentage of wheat production, we could lose that 11.5 percentage, and the price for anything that uses wheat will skyrocket.

According to Adam Smith, what happens when the supply of a product decreases?
BARSIC [14]

The mechanism establishing natural price by Adam Smith connects with effective demand and free competition. If you cut the supply of goods, the demand for them is higher. Because of this, there competition between buyers. Afraid not get the right product, they agree to buy it at a higher cost. The market price will rise. When supply and demand are roughly equal, the market value corresponds to approximately natural.

Gandhi's model of resistance and reform was creative, appealing, and successful.
ANEK [815]

Answer:

Gandhi's model was effective

Explanation:

The sentence doesn't make it clear anything about Gandhi's model being new. It also doesn't talk about followers or how creative Gandhi was, since it is not clear if he created the model by himself. It does show, though, that it worked by using words like "appealing" and "successful".

Does eustace have any opinions as to how girls should be treated? (voyage of the dawn treader)
mihalych1998 [28]

Eustace thinks giving girls special treatment is actually "putting them down, and making them weaker".

Eustace was who?

A fictional character from C. S. Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia is named Eustace Clarence Scrubb. He shows up in The Last Battle, The Silver Chair, and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. He travels with his cousins Edmund and Lucy Pevensie in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. He is joined by Jill Pole, a fellow student from his school, in both The Silver Chair and The Last Battle.

Eustace is initially presented as haughty, petulant, and self-centered. From Eustace's actions and Lewis's tone when describing his family and school, it is clear that Lewis found Eustace's actions to be quite foolish and despised them.

In fact, at the beginning of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Eustace and his parents are not a favorite of Lucy and Edmund, however, this is primarily due to Eustace's haughty and unwelcoming demeanor and the fact that he also refers to his parents by their first names.
