In order to make it a golden rectangle, the two sides should be in golden proportion so the longer side should be 0.618 times the shorter one. so if the given side is the shorter one, the longer side should be about 6.472 inches and if the given side is the longer one, then the shorter one should be about 2.472 inches

Suppose you fill the cone with water and empty the water into the cylinder. how many times will you empty the water from the con
Taya2010 [7]
<h3>Answer:  A) 3 times</h3>

=========================================================

Explanation:

Recall that from a previous screenshot you posted, that

\text{Volume of Cone} = \frac{1}{3}*\left(\text{Volume of Cylinder}\right)

If we multiply both sides by 3 and swap both sides, then we end up with

\text{Volume of Cylinder} = 3*\left(\text{Volume of Cone}\right)

So that's why we need 3 cups of water, if each cup is the cone in the diagram. Keep in mind that the height of the cylinder and the cone must be same. The two radius values must be the same as well. You don't need to have r = h be true.
