The Pueblo Indians and the ancestors of present-day Navajos endured the harsh landscape of the American Southwest in two very different ways:

The Pueblo Indians built brick and stone structures. The Navajo Indians built ranches made with whatever materials were available.

  • Pueblo constructed most of its buildings out of adobe bricks because they are more available in New Mexico and Arizona than any other materials.
  • Pueblo built their homes with large adobe bricks.
  • Adobe bricks made of clay and straw baked into hard blocks.

  • Pueblos are multi-story house complexes with ladders to reach the upstairs rooms.
  • Navajos structures built in the middle of the ranches are called hogans.
  • The Navajo were farmers who grew corn, beans and squash, and hunted animals.

Therefore we can conclude that the Pueblo Indians and Navajos endured the harsh landscape in the Southwest of America.

What was the purpose of German leader Adolf Hitler’s Lebensraum policy?
saul85 [17]
The main purpose of Hitler's policy of lebensraum or "living space" was to expand Germany's territory. This may have been partly fueled by the loss of some German territory as a result of war reparations from WWI. But it was an aggressive and brutal conquest of other neighbouring nations by invading them, controlling their countries and imprisoning and exterminating their Jewish populations.
