on that has stood the test of time, 46 presidents, 4 presidential assassinations: Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley & Kennedy, the legality of slavery, the massacre of indigenous people, The Bill of Rights, the 13th/14th/15th & 19th Amendments, an plethora of life changing Acts, a decade of assassinations all tied to the civil rights movement, "Weapons of Mass Destruction", wars, the first African American president, the weaponizing of social media by a sitting president, domestic terrorism, and an actual insurrection (to name a few). The 21st century (2000's), like centuries past, will give political talking heads plenty to write and classrooms plenty to talk about.
