Imagination is the ability to form a mental image of something that is not perceived though the sense . It's the ability of the mind to build the mental scenes, things or events that do not exist, are not there or have even happened in past . Knowledge on the other hand is familiar , awareness or understanding gained though experience or study. Imagination is within us, and on the other hand knowledge is learnt though schooling and experience. Imagination motivates or rather leads us to acquire much more knowledge and to use it in creative ways and its because of this that we turned a rock into a spear a wheel into a circle , in other ways we wouldn't have evolved into the race we are today.

In the states, she was taught to read and write. She says that it was a mercy for her to be brought to America and uses her own conversion to Christianity as evidence of all Africans' need for redemption. Philip Freneau, on the other hand, was an anti-slavery activist. He believed people can be better redeemed through education and that teachers of philosophy were better instructors of morality than the church.</span>
