The most important contribution that the Disney Studios made to America during World War II was
the production of military training and propaganda films.
During World War II, Walt Disney produced films for the Navy, Air Forces, Treasury Department and Ministry of Agriculture. Those films were educational and propagandistic. Many of those films portrayed famous Disney Characters like Donald Duck. Disney studios also designed insignias for the military. One of them is shown in the image below.
