Our body needs some kinds of bacteria to maintain a balanced and healthy state. for example, our bodies need Lactobacillus acidophilus to create lactic acid which is the acid in our stomachs/intestines. without it, we wouldnt be able to properly digest our food.

there are some cases in which bacteria can be really harmful however like salmonella which, odviously isnt ideal for our bodies. even good bacteria can hurt us if we end up with to much of it.

this isnt a super detailed explaination but i hope it helped!

Bacteria can be good for fighting off certain infections but bad because they can become the infectors themselves

A client diagnosed witth chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is prescribed methylprednisolone.
Elza [17]

Answer:

The blood glucose level.

Explanation:

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) may be defined as the inflammatory disease of the lungs that causes the obstruction in the airflow of the lungs.

Methylprednisolone acts as the glucocorticoid. The steroidal therapy might interferes with the blood glucose metabolism of the body and this increase the level of insulin resistance. This glucose level can be used to monitor whether any intervention is required or not.

Thus, the correct answer is blood glucose level.
