The standard of living in a Latin American country, such as Brazil, is different from that of the USA, due to the fact that Brazil is an emerging country.

The developing countries have an economy based primarily on agriculture, but with an expressive industrial growth, being able to be suppliers of labor and raw material for developed countries.

Therefore, the standard of living of a developed country like the United States will be higher than that of an emerging country, with greater economic opportunities and a higher quality of life for the population.
