The standard of living in a Latin American country, such as Brazil, is different from that of the USA, due to the fact that Brazil is an emerging country.

What is the difference between a developed and an emerging country?

The developing countries have an economy based primarily on agriculture, but with an expressive industrial growth, being able to be suppliers of labor and raw material for developed countries.
