The period of 1820's, was the gradual expansion of the voting rights as sharecroppers and factory workers were allowed to vote in the political process.

<h3>What was the change bring to the voting rights after 1820's?</h3>

A major change was noticed in the political environment of the America as earlier, only few white males were allowed to vote.

Then, an amendment was passed in the favor of the slaves, that voting rights should not be provided on the basis of the color and class.

The state law took the decision in the favor of the sharecroppers and factory workers so that they could vote.
