Answer:

Argumentative essays is based on logic, evidences and reasoning. These types of essays used straight facts and research to convince readers that your writing is true. On the other hand, Persuasive essays used emotions, personal ideas, etc.. to convince the reader to agree to their writings because of the emotional appeal. You don't need to research or gather evidences when writing persuasive essays, that's why you don't need counterarguments.
