!!!1HELPP!!PLS HELP ITS DUE TONIGHT!! Two spinners are used in a game. Each spinner has four equal sections: red, green, white,

and blue.
Create an organized list showing all the possible outcomes after both spinners are spun. Use R to represent red, G to represent green, W to represent white, and B to represent blue. Explain how to find the total number of outcomes from the list.

Find the probability of landing on white then blue.

Compare the probability found in Part B to the probability of landing on white and blue in either order. Explain why they different.

If a third spinner is introduced, would the probability of landing on blue, white, and green in any order still have the same relationship with the probability of landing on the same color set in a specific order? Justify

It’s a simple probability question that can be solved with an “outcome tree” and fractions. To show the possible outcomes you can pick a main color then branch off of it to show the possible outcomes. The probability of landing on white would be 2 out of 8. Landing on blue would be 2 out of 16 because the probabilities have multiplied. I know this probably doesn’t make much sense but this was the best I could explain it.

Use trigonometric identities to solve each equation within the given domain.
DedPeter [7]

Recall that

cos²(<em>x</em>) + sin²(<em>x</em>) = 1

Then in the equation

1 - cos(<em>x</em>) = 2 - 2 sin²(<em>x</em>)

we can rewrite as

1 - cos(<em>x</em>) = 2 (1 - sin²(<em>x</em>))

1 - cos(<em>x</em>) = 2 cos²(<em>x</em>)

2 cos²(<em>x</em>) + cos(<em>x</em>) - 1 = 0

Factorize the left side as

(2 cos(<em>x</em>) - 1) (cos(<em>x</em>) + 1) = 0

so that

2 cos(<em>x</em>) - 1 = 0   <u>or</u>   cos(<em>x</em>) + 1 = 0

cos(<em>x</em>) = 1/2   <u>or</u>   cos(<em>x</em>) = -1

On the interval (-<em>π</em>, <em>π</em>) (note that this interval is open, so we don't allow <em>x</em> = <em>π</em>), we have

• cos(<em>x</em>) = 1/2 for <em>x</em> = <em>π</em>/3 and <em>x</em> = -<em>π</em>/3

• cos(<em>x</em>) = -1 for <em>x</em> = <em>π</em>
