Marijuana is the second most common drug, this is based on biased reports however with lots of variables that should be taken into consideration completely ignored so that it can make a larger point than it would with the actual statistics.

A large washer has an outer radius of 10mm and a hole with a diameter of 14mm. What is the area of the washer? (Use π =3.14)
padilas [110]

Answer:

160.14 mm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of a circle = pi r^2

subtract the area of the smaller circle from the larger

note that the smaller radius = 7 mm

pi ( 10^2 - 7^2 ) =

3.14 ( 51) = 160.14 mm^2

Ellen purchased a dishwasher, which cost $315 before the 9.22% sales tax. She used the machine an average of 10 times per week f
Natasha2012 [34]
Given:
Cost of dishwasher : 315 before sales tax
sales tax : 9.22%

Total cost = 315 * 1.0922 = 344.043

Average of 10 uses per week for the next 6 years before replacing it.
There are 52 weeks in a year.

10 uses per week * 52 weeks per year * 6 years = 3120 average uses

cost for water = 0.09 ; cost for electricity = 0.13 ; total cost per use = 0.22

0.22 * 3120 = 686.40 cost of use

purchase cost = 344.043
cost of use = 686.40
lifetime cost 1,030.443

Need help on this the struggle is real!!!
djverab [1.8K]
Hello,

To solve this, we should first write an inequality.
Since we have to pay $109.50 to rent the studio, we will start with that.
Then, we add on 15 per person. Finally, it needs to be under $319.

The inequality is:
109.5 + 15x < 318

Solve it gives:
15x < 208.5
x < 13.9

We have to invite less than 13.9 people. So they most we can invite is only 13.

I hope this helps,

Charles has 3/5 the amount of money Di has. How much money does charles have if Di has $6 more than him?
DaniilM [7]
Charles = Di multiplied by 3/5
Charles = Di minus 6
x multiplied by .6 = x - 6
15 multiplied by .6 = 15 - 6

Di = 15
