'Night' is the story about Eli Wiesel and his father in the concentration camps and the holocaust experience of the Jews at Auschwitz. This book portrays the struggle of Elie in having faith in God and humanity.

When the young boy was taken to the gallows for execution the faith of all the people had, was getting perished. The killing of an innocent young child who was like an angel caused sorrow in all the Jews.

Therefore, the execution of the young boy resulted in losing faith.
