Answer: Conspiracy theories can bring people together by creating a topic to discuss when having a conversation. Often times people do not know what to talk about when trying to start a conversation with a new person so they bring up something like this to get the conversation started. Also, if you two have the same opinion on the conspiracy then its most likely that youll talk about other topics and become closer.
