Why is the setting important to the story? Only the British people are kindly to mongooses, so the story could not happen anywhe

re else. The animals are particular to one location, so the story would be different if it occurred elsewhere. The setting is not important and has little influence on the story overall. It could only occur in the 1900s because British people do not live in India anymore.

I'm not sure if these are answers? BUT I would say the setting explains what's happening and where they are, which give you a better idea on what's happening and lets you imagine, and understand the story more clearly.

13. Write an essay entitled "Gender equality as a<br>rising tide in Nepal."
kati45 [8]
Gender inequality in Nepal refers to disparities and inequalities between men and women in Nepal, a landlocked country in South Asia. Gender inequality is defined as unequal treatment and opportunities due to perceived differences based solely on issues of gender.[1] Gender inequality is a major barrier for human development worldwide as gender is a determinant for the basis of discrimination in various spheres such as health, education, political representation, and labor markets.[2] Although Nepal is modernizing and gender roles are changing, the traditionally patriarchal society creates systematic barriers to gender equality.
