B - they had no intrest in it!

C - the colonist came with their family, probably & why would they go back?

D - closing the docks would lead to a harder time for the colonist because the british didnt want the colonist to trade and gain more control. Or expand with other nations to trade since the british was using them in the traingle trade or something.
